JEDDAH. The Consulate General of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Jeddah has announced an expansion of its service hours to better serve the Sri Lankan community in Saudi Arabia.
Starting immediately, the consulate will open on the last Friday of every month to provide consular, employment, and welfare services. The new arrangement allows citizens to access essential services without disrupting their regular work schedules.
The revised consular service hours are as follows:
Sunday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Last Thursday of the Month: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Last Friday of the Month: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
The consulate has noted that while all applications will be accepted during Friday sessions, documents requiring extended processing will be issued on a subsequent date.
