JEDDAH. AROYA Cruises, a subsidiary of the PIF-owned Cruise Saudi, has officially launched its inaugural season in the Arabian Gulf. Running from February 21 to May 8, the season marks a milestone in regional tourism by blending authentic Saudi hospitality with international maritime standards.
AROYA offers a curated experience featuring culturally inspired entertainment and diverse dining options. The season is designed to provide guests with a dynamic way to explore the Gulf.
The cruise line will offer voyages ranging from two to seven nights, giving travelers more choices than initially planned. In addition to longer five- and seven-night cruises, passengers can now book shorter two-, three- and four-night trips that depart from multiple ports across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
The new interporting model allows travelers to board and disembark at different Gulf cities and coastal destinations making it easier for visitors to explore the region on their schedule.
Aroya Cruises’ first sailing departs from Dubai on February 21. The inaugural voyage will visit Khasab, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, and Doha before concluding at Sir Bani Yas Island, home to the UAE’s largest wildlife reserve.
The cruise season will continue until May 8, 2026, featuring a variety of short and medium-length voyages designed to appeal to both regional travelers and international visitors interested in exploring the Arabian Gulf. The move marks an important step for Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector, offering locals and tourists a new way to discover the Gulf’s diverse ports and attractions.
AROYA Cruises officially launched in June 2023 as a separate business unit of Cruise Saudi; a business fully owned by the Public Investment Fund. This premium Cruise Line runs with an independent operational and management team based in Jeddah.
Launched in line with Vision 2030 and Saudi Arabia’s plan to become one of the top global tourism destinations by 2030, AROYA Cruises aims to provide exceptional all-year-round experiences tailored to Saudi and GCC nationals and residents.
